Erasmus In procedure
Every year, Haute École Albert Jacquard welcomes Erasmus students and teachers under bilateral agreements signed with its partner institutions.
Students interested in studying at the Haute École Albert Jacquard will find all the information they need on this site to choose their course program, by searching for course programs in the desired category.

Appointments and application deadlines
15/05: for a semester or year starting in September
15/11: for a semester starting in January
Nomination and scholarship contract:
The list of students selected for a study stay must be sent by the international managers of the sending university, by email to cri@heaj.be.
This email must include:
- Name and surname(s) of students
- Email address
- Field of study
- Study period (1st or 2nd semester)
Student application
Selected students must complete an application form.
This document is MANDATORY for the registration of Erasmus students at Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard.
Students must also prepare and send a provisional Learning Agreement (online learning agreement: link) to the same e-mail address. This agreement must be signed by their university’s international coordinator. It may be amended on arrival in Belgium.
Finally, students wishing to spend a period in the technical department (computer graphics) should send a link to their portfolio. Analysis of this portfolio will enable the HEAJ to place the student in the best work group according to his/her graphic design profile.
Confirmation
A letter of acceptance will be sent to the student and his/her university by June 15 for a stay starting in September, and by December 15 for a stay starting in February, provided the applicant has complied with the procedure.
Students should bring this letter with them when they arrive in Namur.
Living in Namur
Namur is a pleasant city with a population of around 110,000.
It lies at the heart of Europe, within easy reach of Paris (300 km), London (200 km) and Amsterdam. It’s a quiet city where life is good, and where students from all over the world and from all walks of life rub shoulders.
With its historic medieval center and impressive citadel, Namur nestles at the confluence of the Sambre and Meuse rivers, surrounded by lush green valleys that invite you to stroll and enjoy leisure activities. Its commercial center is rich and human-sized. Numerous squares and alleyways make this a pleasant and safe town.

Transport
Namur is well served by public transport. At 60 km from Brussels and Liège, and 30 km from Charleroi, it is close to national and regional airports: Brussels National (Brussels) – Brussels South/Charleroi – Liège Airport. These three airports serve most European cities.
To get to Namur from Brussels or Charleroi, the train is the fastest and most convenient means of transport: the Belgian national railway company (SNCB) connects all Belgian cities. Go to the mobile application.
Namur is also served by Thalys and Eurostar.
